Breaking the Great Divide!

As Europe grows so does its cultural, ethnic, social, economic and political diversity. It is evermore important to find means to decrease this and bring European citizenship to the fore. Tourism may well be an innovative asset that could lead to unifying the diversity of europe.

When looking at the Union as a whole one can easily determine the diversity within one's own country. Social difference are most common when looking at welfare of each citizen, region and/or country. The possibility to offer diverse experiences to all citizens is clearly a win-win situation.

Developing social-tourism concepts is an ideal which will be able to enhance wellbeing at both an individual and communal level. Beyond the possibility of a citizen travelling freely within his/her own country regardless of their possibilities is a chance to enhance a life experience. This is evermore exhilarating when it is put into a European perspective.

Social tourism joined with organized products, services and timeframes may well serve a multiple purpose to the individuals, the community they belong in and the service Providers who depend on tourism as a means of employment, opportunity and business.

Today Europe is possibly the most sought destination worldwide and it also heavily depends on tourism as one of its major industries. Social tourism programs beyond supporting the tourist industry it also supports the citizens to enhance their relation to the european neighbours even when personal difficulties, or burdens that may be encountered in life.
